Simran Sandal

Simran is a second-year MSc student in the Phonetics and Gaston Lab. Her research examines speech perception and production in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is particularly interested in understanding how cognitive-behavioral traits associated with ASD influence these processes, aiming to uncover the underlying mechanisms that contribute to variations in speech processes. Her work integrates methods such as EEG and ultrasound to investigate auditory responses and speech articulation.
