ARiEAL is an interdisciplinary research centre that brings together a group of scientists with complementary specializations and a shared commitment to research relevant to language and language cognition. Our membership comprises of linguists, psycholinguists, psychologists, speech language pathologists, engineers and neuroscientists. The centre addresses questions of fundamental linguistics research, and experimental and applied linguistics research, including work with Indigenous communities and their languages. Specialized research on language learning, bilingualism, and core linguistics topics including acoustics, phonetics, syntax and semantics provides the foundation applied and experimental research.
