Madelaine is a second-year MSc student in the MELD Research Lab. Her current research investigates whether language skills at the end of an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program matter for long-term GPA achievement and, if so, which skills are most predictive. She is also interested in childhood language acquisition, adult second-language learning, historical linguistics, and sociolinguistics.
