Emmanuel Gil

Emmanuel is a second-year MSc student in the Syntax Lab. He is interested in theoretical syntax, corpus linguistics, and experimental methodology. His research focuses on the mechanisms behind subject licensing in Spanish. Currently, he is investigating the structural differences underlying the variation in subject position between Peninsular and Latin American varieties of Spanish.
