[Call for Papers] The MOT 2018 Phonology/Phonetics Workshop

The 2018 Montréal-Ottawa-Toronto (MOT) Phonology/Phonetics Workshop will take place March 23-25, 2018

The Department of Linguistics and Languages and ARiEAL Research Centre are going to host the next phonology/phonetics conference MOT – a joint effort of the Universities of Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, and now McMaster University! The workshop will take place March 23-25, 2018 at McMaster University in Hamilton (Ontario).

The MOT 2018 is pleased to announce a call for papers at this time. Abstracts are invited on any topic related to phonetics, phonology, their interfaces with each other, or their interfaces with the morpho-syntax. Please submit anonymous abstracts in PDF format with the words ”MOT 2018” in the subject line to mot2018conference@gmail.com. Abstracts are not to exceed 1 page, including data and references, with 1-inch margins and 11 point font. Please submit abstracts by Friday the 19th of January 2018 by midnight EST. Abstracts will be reviewed internally, with results expected within three weeks of submission. Abstracts and talks may be in either English or French.
