MOTH 5 – Call for Papers is now open

The 5th annual Montreal-Ottawa-Toronto-Hamilton Workshop on Syntax (MOTH 5) will take place on Saturday April 8, 2017

The Department of Linguistics and Languages and ARiEAL Research Centre at McMaster University are hosting the 5th annual Montreal-Ottawa-Toronto-Hamilton workshop on syntax (MOTH 5) on Saturday April 8, 2017. MOTH is a venue for graduate students to present their ongoing work and to get feedback from faculty and fellow students. Dr. Susana Bejar from University of Toronto will be the invited speaker this year.

Call for papers: As in previous years, MOTH 5 accepts abstracts for talks and posters. Talks will be allocated 15 or 20 minutes with 5 or 10 minutes for questions (depending on the number of submissions). Abstracts should be maximum one-page in length, with at least one-inch margins and 12 point font (Times or equivalent), and should indicate whether they should be considered for a talk, a poster, or both.
