By Dr. Stefanie Blain-Moraes, March 28, 2017, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
The Language, Memory and Brain Lab & ARiEAL Research Centre will host a workshop by Dr. Stefanie Blain-Moraes, an assistant professor at the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy at McGill University, on March 28, 2017. Dr. Blain-Moraes and team have developed an EEG pipeline for the analysis of high-density EEG data to make these techniques accessible. The pipeline includes traditional techniques such as spectral analysis, topographic plots, and phase-amplitude coupling analysis, as well as measures of functional connectivity (e.g. phase lag index), directed functional connectivity (e.g. directed phase lag index, symbolic transfer entropy) and graph theoretical analyses. In this workshop, Dr. Blain-Moraes will introduce the theoretical background of each of these techniques, followed by a hands-on demonstration of the EEG pipeline. Workshop attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to use the software interface.
